A Machakos voter, Henry Kioko has moved to court to bar three legislators from participating in the joint parliamentary committee that is resolving the current IEBC stalemate.
The three are; Johnston Muthama, Junet Mohammed and Moses Kuria. Kioko has asked the court to issue temporary orders barring them from participating in the committee seatings until the hate speech case being faced by the legislators is heard and determined.
Kioko argued that they are unfit since they lack integrity. The three legislators were charged for hate speech among five other legislators.
This comes just a week after the joint select committee tackling the IEBC matters was constituted.
Kioko is also a senatorial aspirant in Machakos County.
