Mbita lawmaker Millie Odhiambo has been directed to present herself before the OCS at Parliament police station immediately.
The High Court directed that the ODM MP records statement in a case where she is seeking anticipatory bond for her remarks in parliament, against President Uhuru Kenyatta, on December 21, 2016.
While issuing the directive, Thursday, Justice James Wakiaga said Odhiambo should be accompanied by her lawyers. He also asked the police not to arrest her on the way, since the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Keriako Tobiko was not ready to proceed with the case.
Wakiaga further disqualified himself from hearing the matter, saying he hails from Mbita Constituency, which Odhiambo represents.
The matter will be heard on January 10, 2017.
