A Nairobi Court has barred area gubernatorial hopeful Miguna Miguna, from making defamatory remarks against fellow gubernatorial aspirant Esther Passaris.

Justice Joseph Sergon ruled that Miguna should not make any defamatory statements against Passaris through any media, including social media platforms or by word.

Passaris had lodged a complaint with the Court, accusing Miguna of character assassination and malice on social media without any lawful or legal cause.

She argued that Miguna's statements had caused her family distress,  ruining her reputation.
