Machakos women representative Dr Susan Musyoka and her supporters are a happy lot after a Machakos court dismissed the case presented against Dr Susan citing lack of evidence.
Musyoka's case has been pending since November 2016 after she asked the court to stop her possible arrest. She had asked the president to resign or commit suicide if he was unable to fight corruption.
Machakos County CID boss Henry Ndombi had summoned Dr Susan after the remarks which were published by a local daily.
Through a statement on her Facebook page, Musyoka expressed gratitude to everyone that stood by her;
"I praise the Lord for he is always good to me. His promises remain yes and Amen. I also want to thank the people of Machakos for always being there for me. It's indeed true that we walked together the corridors of justice for all that time." Read a statement on her Facebook page.
Hundreds of her supporters who were in the courtroom carried her shoulder high as they celebrate the vindication of Machakos women representative for fighting corruption.
