An Eldoret court on Wednesday extended an order stopping the burial of a man whose two wives have disagreed over the burial site.
The deceased Fredrick Amwayi is a father to a Kakamega ward MCA Timothy Aseka.
The order was extended until the burial dispute is settled by the family.
The deceased died two weeks ago.
His first wife identified as Agnetta Oyiera and co-wife Ruth Anyolo are battling over a burial site for their husband.
Eldoret chief magistrate Charles Obulutsa urged the family to settle the matter before the court will allow them to bury the body.
Obulutsa will give directions over the matter on March 2.
