The High Court has issued orders barring former gubernatorial candidate Martha Karuafrom testifying in an election petition against Kirinyaga Governor AnneWaiguru.
Judge Lucy Gitari barred Ms Karua from testifying on the findings of an audit carried out on the materials used for the Kirinyaga governor elections.
Justice Gitari said that the report was yet to be tabled before the court in the ongoing retrial.
Ms Karua took the stand to testify at the trial on Tuesday where she alleged that DeputyPresident William Ruto's security personnel were engaged in voter bribery.
"At Kang'aru Primary School I found a Jubilee official being driven around in a police vehiclewhile dishing out money to voters. I asked the OCPD why he had surrendered his authorityto a civilian and why the party official had not been arrested."I reported the incident to Deputy Inspector-General of Police Ben Kitili and to the countypolice commander," she testified.
