Pastor James Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism has been acquitted in a case where he was charged with causing the death of a woman in a Nakuru road accident.
On Friday, a Limuru court delivered the ruling in the 2015 accident that occurred along the Nakuru-Naivasha Highway.
In the accident, a woman identified as Mercy Njeri died while her husband sustained serious injuries.
Mr. Martin Mbugua, who would later state that he has forgiven Pastor Ng’ang’a, was forced to use a crutch after the incident.
During the court sessions, Pastor Ngángá maintained his innocence insisting that the Range Rover that caused the accident did not belong to him.
The defiant pastor at one time even said he was not afraid of being taken to prison because he believed the incident was a “smear campaign” against him and his church.
