The opposition has already started its Monday demonstrations against the IEBC, this time round with more vigour and determination than ever.
But according to the Inspector General of police Joseph Boinett, the demonstrations have already been outlawed by the court.
This is a real test for the opposition to show its sincerity and respect to the Judiciary. It is either a make or a break in its politics.
Just late last month, Cord went to court to compel the judges to issue an order warning the police against harassing them in their Madaraka Day rally at Uhuru park on June 1.
With the court order in their hands, the government and the security department allowed the opposition to proceed with their rally. It was a show of respect to the courts and its judges.
However, here comes the opposition that has stuck with its plans to stage the countrywide demos on Monday.
Co-principals Raila Odinga and Moses Wetangula have been quoted by the media insisting that they would go on with their Monday schedules regardless of whether the government gives it a nod or not.
Making their threats forth will fully reveal that the opposition does not respect the constitutional bodies neither does it value honesty.
If Raila and his team is to score brilliantly in the eyes of the electorate, then it will be wise for them to heed the court order regardless of their submission.
