The Nakuru Environment and Labor Relations Court on Tuesday ordered the arrest of three senior officials of a Christian organization for disobeying orders stopping them from sacking workers. 

The court ordered the arrest of Nancy Kahuthia and Daniel Karanu - directors of Scripture Union of Kenya.

The court judge issued the warrant of  arrest for the two with immediate effect after they were found guilty of contempt of court.

The two are accused of illegal sacking of the organization's workers after which the workers moved to court to challenge the director's decision to sack them.

The court also ordered the two be arraigned once they will be arrested.
