A warrant of arrest has been issued against TNA Secretary General Onyango Oloo following failure by his party to refund money to a 2013 senatorial aspirant as directed by the court.

According to the Star, TNA did not comply with a court order ordering the party to refund Sh382 000 to Uasin Gishu senatorial aspirant Emiliano Kipkorir Tonui.

Tonui went to the Eldoret High Court seeking the refund which he had been charged during the nominations only for the party to cancel his clearance later.

The Jubilee coalition cancelled Tonui's papers on grounds that Rift Valley region was a URP zone within the Jubilee and therefore could not field double candidates.
