A Kisumu court has reinstated Ahero Girls High School principal who had been interdicted following chaos that erupted at the school.
Sarah Adipo had been interdicted by the TSC for allegedly embezzling school funds, a move that sparked riots in the school as parents and students demanded for her reinstatement.
This means the orders by the Employment and Labour Relations Court offers the Principal temporary relief until the case against her is heard and determined.
In her ruling, Justice Maureen Onyango issued a temporary injunction suspending her interdiction after she was served with a letter by TSC on October 6.
The riots that rocked the institution culminated in the arrest of area MP Fred Outa who was charged with inciting the students to riot until he was released on a Sh100,000 cash bail.
The school was consequently closed as it was rendered unmanageable by the protests.
