The three went to the industrial court to challenge their dismissal by the Garissa County Governor Nathif Jama.

The county executives for Trade, Water and Environment complained that the procedure used by the governor to dismiss them was unconstitutional and was in bad faith.

The Industrial court has now granted the three- Idriss Mukhtar (Trade), Salah Yakub (Environment) and Mukhtar Bulale (Water)- interim orders reinstating them to their respective offices until their case is heard and determined.

The four county executive committee members were sacked on Monday for what the governor termed as poor service delivery and incompetency, accusations that they have refuted.

"We felt that the governor's accusations were quite unfair and we immediately went and filed a case in the Nairobi Industrial court and we got an order on May 27reinstating us back to office until the petition is heard and determined," Idriss Muktar told the press in Garissa Town on Friday.

The fate of Education Executive Hussein Hajir is, however, not clear as he had not moved to court.
