Chief Justice David Maraga launched his Strategic Blueprint aimed to shape the trajectory that the judiciary should take over, in the next five years under his leadership.

The CJ promised to ensure all Court cases that have stayed in Courts for more than five years, are concluded in the next two years.

He also disclosed that all Kenyan Courts countrywide, will be enabled with WiFi.

According to Maraga, this will enable the Courts receive monies inform of bonds, fines, cash bails through mobile payment systems such as MPesa, Airtel Money and Orange Money, from the accused.

"This will be implemented in few months to come. We want to streamline how judiciary do things for the sake of the people. We want the process of getting justice be simplified,'' he said, Thursday.

Also present during the launch of the Strategic Blueprint- titled: 'Sustaining Judiciary Transformation: A New Service Delivery Agenda', were Speakers of National and Senate Assemblies, Justin Muturi and Ekwe Ethuro, respectively.

Maraga also promised, enhanced access to justice to all court users, new strategies to clear case backlog, 360 degree integrity in our service delivery, a digital strategy to deliver true justice, and a high performing, independent and accountable judiciary.
