A delegation from the Commission of Revenue Allocation (CRA) on Tuesday paid a courtesy call to the Uasin Gishu Deputy Governor Daniel Chemno's office at the county's headquarters in Eldoret town.CRA Commissioners led by their Chief Executive Offficer (CEO) George Aoko are in the County on issues to do with revenue allocations where the County is expected to review all policy parameters on allocations.Speaking during the meeting, Chemno urged CRA to review revenue on natural resources that goes at 25 percent.He recommended that it should be brought down to 10 percent."Monies for areas that are fully devolved should be fully channeled for them to be effective," Chemno said."I'm impressed that the Commission acknowledged some of the projects that we have done as a County. This motivates us to focus more on projects," he added.CRA on its part urged devolved units to form specific committees to ensure effective channel for procedural scheme when tabling revenue allocations issues.The county government of Uasin Gishu has initiated several projects in various department among them Health and Education sectors where over 500 Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) centers and 25 new health facilities have been constructed.
