Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama has been told to take action against his two officers who allegedly exchanged kicks and blows outside his residence on Tuesday evening.
A section of MCAs led by the County Assembly Speaker Joash Nyamoko said the two officers; County Secretary Eric Onchana and Health Services Chief Officer Douglas Bosire cast the county government of Nyamira in a bad light.
Addressing the press on Thursday in Nyamira town, Nyamoko called on Nyagarama to take stern action against the duo.
“It is a bad picture to our county government when senior officials fight each other outside the governor’s residence. We need leadership of integrity in our county ,” said the Speaker.
It is alleged that Onchana and Bosire engaged in a fight after attending a meeting at the Governor's home which went on till late in the night on Tuesday night.
The two officers have since denied the allegations.
