A number of Jubilee legislators from the larger Gusii region are said to have been 'saddened' by the party's decision to overlook Charles Nyachae's bid for EALA.

Last week, Jubilee settled on five individuals among them Mpuri Aburi and Simon Mbugua to represent Kenya in the regional assembly based in Arusha.

"We settled on 15 people and our legislators are urged to pick any five from the list," said Aden Duale.

But a secret MoU between Deputy President William Ruto and a number of Jubilee leaders is believed to have been violated.

In the MoU, Ruto is said to have promised to nominate one person at least from the larger Gusii region to EALA with Charles Mochama being an automatic choice.

"We had an agreement which has been blatantly violated. Time has come for us now to speak in one voice," said North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko, who is now pushing for Gusii unity.

Kitutu Masaba's Shadrack Mose said: "It is unfortunate that our voice was disrespected. They should have at least chosen Nyachae."

Both Nyachae and Ex-Royal media presenter Doris Aburi were among the 15 people in Jubilee list but failed to make it.

Despite losing to Raila Odinga in August poll at the larger Gusii region, Uhuru Kenyatta's graph was however impressive.
