NASA affiliated party wiper has now insisted that they won't accept their colleagues from ODM to 'oppress' them in the house committees and instead they will push for more slots.
According to Borabu member of parliament Ben Momanyi, ODM Members of Parliament were taking advantage of their numbers to oppress the Wiper party members and insisted they won't allow that to happen.
" No doubt we disagreed in Parliament over the list provided by NASA and we will push for Wiper party to get Positions on the commission that runs Parliament as they are considered plum because commissioners influence employment, watch over a large budget, enjoy a sitting allowance of Sh40,000, official cars, an office and staff" said Momanyi
Speaking on Saturday in Nyansiongo the mp applauded house speaker Justin Muturi for 'disowning' the list provided by NASA and said their was need for scrutiny.
The speaker during the debate said that they recognize Wiper as a parliamentary party and urged its top leadership to write a letter to indicate whether it agrees with the list provided by Nasa or not.Mr Muturi further directed that the letters should come from the coalition’s decision-making organ.
“in order to get the clear picture of the nominated list we don’t want communication from executive directors but instead we are looking at top leaders from the NASA parties to write the names jointly ” said Muturi
