Two middle-aged men died in a tragic road accident involving a motorbike and a Nairobi bound bus along the Sondu-Oyugis road early Wednesday morning.
Bogisanga sub-location assistant chief Robert Maoga who confirmed the incident, said the bus which was heading to Nairobi from Oyugis was speeding, something that could have led to the accident.
"The Nyamira Express bus which was heading to Nairobi from Oyugis town was speeding something we suspect might have caused the death of the two men who were riding a motorbike along Misambi junction," said Maoga.
Police officers from Nyamira police station moved the bodies of the deceased who were identified as Samuel Mincha and Nyangau Maruko, to Bwomboga Hospital mortuary.
The administrator said investigations into the accident have started.
