Preliminary investigators into the Lake Nakuru chopper tragedy show that it hit an obstacle before it crashed.
Aircraft investigators on Sunday said an analysis of debris from the helicopter suggests the pilot 'must have hit something'.
This is after the team analysed parts of the chopper so far recovered.
“From the recovered parts, it is almost clear the pilot hit something before the crash,” said an investigator on condition of anonymity.
Among the things recovered is the pilot's file, a first aid box, ear phones, the plane’s chair, plane’s door, logbook and a shoes.
Recovery mission to trace the bodies of five passengers that were aboard resumed Monday.
