Kisii county governor James Ongwae has said that he will not be destructed by his critics but he will instead deliver on his promises.
Speaking on Tuesday morning when he met a number of women groups at Kisii county hall the governor said that the more his critics make noise the more he is delivering his promises to the county residents.
“My strength lies on your votes and my supporters from all over the county because when I was seeking for the top county job I approached them and they voted for me overwhelmingly and therefore I will stand by them as I know they will stand by me," he added.
Ongwae called upon all his opponents to ensure that they preach peace and sell their mandate instead of tarnishing his name in various public places.
“Competition is allowed though a healthy competition is always needed, peace is all we want and for me and the county government we will ensure that we work on that," he added.
He called upon women groups to ensure they register their groups so that they can receive loans from the county government kitty.
