KNUT national treasurer John Matiang’i has said that he is in full support of the impromptu visits made by the Cabinet secretary to different schools in the country.
Matiang'i said that the principals who fear and accuse the CS of his impromptu visits are coward and there might be something wrong in their school.
“There is nothing wrong when the CS makes such visits since he needs to supervise what is going on in our school," said Matiang'i.
"It could be possible that the principals who are accusing the visits seem to be having something the goes wrong in their school hence they don’t what to be caught unaware,” he added.
He also added that as the union they will not be ready to carry the cross of the principals who will be found in the mess .
Instead, he advised the principals who are complaining about the visits to stop complaining and make sure that they have all measures in place which will help the education sector.
John Matiang’i who is a brother to the education CS Fred Matiang’i hailed his efforts in improving the education sector.
“This is the way we need to take so as to make sure that the education sector achieves its goals, the Cs has really shown that education can be improved in our nation, let us support him to make reforms in this sector,” added Matiang'i.
He was speaking at Nyambaria Boys when the two attended the book donation day.
