This was revealed on Thursday by area chief, Francis Kariuki, while addressing journalist at Nuru Palace Hotel in Nakuru town.

The chief, popularly referred to as the tweeting chief, said that Information Cabinet Secretary, Fred Mating’i, will launch the project at Jomo Kenyatta Primary school on Monday.

He urged the villages to take advantage of the wifi by creating projects that will be of economical value to them. “With the free wifi, we hope that farmers will be in a position to market their products on line,” said Kariuki.

He noted that this will help farmers to access both local and international market. He further urged youths to make good use of the wifi once it is launched
