Water Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa has slammed the opposition for trying to gain political mileage by misleading the public on national projects.
He has criticised the opposition for claiming that the numerous multibillion projects in the country are being funded by and sponsored by international bodies and not the Jubilee government.
"It was absurd to hear the opposition claiming that the Sh4.2 billion for tarmacking of the 110 km Malindi-Sala Gate road was funded by world bank. This a jubilee government project including the expansion of Malindi International Airport," said wamalwa, who was speaking in kilifi while distributing water pumps and to farmers.
The cs defended the jubilee government citing that it had developed and tarmacked roads in marginalised areas, connected most parts of the country with electricity besides other numerous projects to develop the country.
He further hit out at the opposition for having done nothing while they held various positions in the government.
"Do not be tricked by empty riddles from opposition leaders since some of them were in government as vice president, prime minister and cabinet secretaries but they did nothing during their time," said Wamalwa.
