Water Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa has distanced himself from claims that he met Ford Kenya leader and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang'ula to figure out his political future.

Wamalwa’s personal assistant Kizito Temba said the speculations that his boss wants to work with Wetangula are misleading.

"It is disgusting that somebody can imagine that Wamalwa can jump into bed with such a disorganised opposition," read part of his statement as quoted by the Star.

He also said Wamalwa and Wetangula’s political strategies are not the same hence they have nothing to share in a meeting as alleged.

The CS affirmed that the meeting that was claimed to have taken place in one of the city hotels was a fabrication of Wetangula’s sychophants.

"I think Wetang'ula's supporters are so desperate, having realised they are not needed in the NASA arrangement. That's why you see them come up with all manner of dreams," he said.

The cabinet Secretary said that he will unveil his future plans later.

"Let people hold their horses. I will soon declare exactly what seat I will vie for," he said.

Media reports indicate that Wamalwa plans were to vie for Bungoma governorship.
