Water CS Eugene Wamalwa has invited Moses Wetang'ula to accompany him to Western ahead of a planned Jubilee tour so he can witness the development brought to the region.

Bungoma Senator Wetang'ula has criticized the ruling party for not implementing development in the Western region since entering office back in 2013.

He further urged voters to vote for NASA ahead of the August 8 elections and believes Jubilee have made ‘fake promises’.

However the CS begs to differ claiming that the ruling party has indeed developed the region and only a blind person could say otherwise.

"We want our brothers in the Opposition, led by Weta, to tell us what they did to our people for development when they were in government," he said as reported by The Star.

Wamalwa has insisted that Jubilee’s work is not done and has been campaigning for President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto across the five counties in Western.

It is believed the CS wanted to contest for the Nairobi gubernatorial slot but changed his mind with intentions of campaigning of President Kenyatta.

Recenty, Wamalwa was accused of being a pawn of the ruling party but insists he is keeping an eye on the western region and will not refrain from telling residents the truth.
