Speaking on Sunday evening after conclusion of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) meeting, Dahabshiil CEO Abdirashid Duale said that the Africa-Japan trade partnership had come at the very best time to benefit both parties.

In the TICAD meeting, Tokyo promised to pump Sh3 trillion into various investment projects that targetted to transform the economy of Africa, something Dahabshiil sees as very great a contribution.

"As Dahabshiil, we know the importance of partnerships since we operate across the continent, as well as in Europe, North America and the Middle East and have traded with Japanese companies,” said Duale.
