Drinking wine
Wine is a sugary drink that has negative implications on the teeth. There are two kinds of wines(red and white) and each have different ingredients. For instance, white wine have high level of acids than the red wine. Hence, the white wine is more detrimental than the red one. Thus, white wine destroys the harder covering of the tooth, enamel.
Regular consumption of wine is not only bad for you teeth but also for overall health.
Drinking bottled water
People like drinking bottled water when they are far from tap water which is not bad. However, excessive consumption of bottled water is not good for the teeth. Bottled water contain traces of flouride which brings about tooth decay . Teeth decay can be as a result of excessive consumption of bottled water.
As much as you embrace drinking bottled water, keep in mind that it causes tooth decay.
Chewing gums
Occasion chewing of gums is right. Some of chewing gums are loaded with sugars and preservatives which are not good for the teeth. It is reported that chewing gums destroys temporomandibular joint, the temporal bone of mandibular hence causing teeth-related problems like cavities and gingivitis.
You are advised to chew gums on occasions but not regularly.
