This comes a day after one pupil from Bosire Academy slipped into a poorly constructed ditch as he got swept off by Nyakumisaro River which cuts across Daraja Mbili Market and was found dead the day after the incident.

Speaking today in his office one of the Daraji Mbili primary senior teachers, Zablon Keya regretted over the otherwise could-be-controlled incident of the late pupil heaping the blame on the county and national roads' authorities for failing to build sustainable and quality infrastructure.

"I squarely blame both governments for always not observing our infrastructure on a keen eye, they need to wake from their deep slumber," Keya appealed.

Jane Kwamboka a green grocer at Daraja Mbili market delivered the same message saying that the county government of Kisii has always promised to build quality drainage system connect the market which has not been repaired to date.

One teacher who did not want her be published called for the responsible authority to do the necessary before more disasters are witnessed.
