Police in Naivasha on Wednesday became victims of theft after suspected robbers stole electronics from their quarters.
Following the day time incident, a major search was conducted in Kihoto slums where the stolen electronics were recovered.
Two people were arrested in connection with the theft. According to the Star, the affected police officer was informed by his neighbours who witnessed the incident.
"The officer was informed by a neighbour and a major search kicked off with two suspects being arrested in Kihoto estate," said an officer who sought anonymity.
The suspects will be arraigned in court on Thursday morning facing charges of theft and possession of stolen items.
According to the officer who was speaking to the Star newspaper, the suspects will face more charges if they fail to account for other electronics found in their house.
