The nature of Kenyan politics has been for a long time known to be marred with tribalism and hatred towards other communities of the different tribes in the country.
National Super Alliance (NASA) strategist Dr. David Ndii has however, distanced himself from the politics of tribalism and hatred citing that he doesn't value any tribe more than the other.
Through a tweet on Sunday, Dr. Ndii said he neither loves, hates nor feel closer to members of his tribe more than the other tribes or groups of people. He expressed his sense of patriotism insinuating that he treats everybody equally despite their tribe or country of origin.
"I don’t hate any group of people, and I do not love my tribesfolk, or feel closer to them, than I do to other human beings. A kikuyu stranger is as much a stranger as a Kisii one, A kikuyu friend as much as a Kamba one. I do not love Kenyans more than Ugandans," he said.
This follows after another Twitter user condemned him for 'hating' his own people and 'valuing' people from other tribes than those from his, the Kikuyu community.
"Voice your opinions. But hatred of your own people confirms you possess all the attributes of a demagogue. Hate is a feeling that only exists in hell," read a tweet thrown at Mr. Ndii
All these drama are based on the fact that Dr. Ndii is an opposition ally despite being a Kikuyu. Kenyans with minds flooded with tribalism will always blame one for supporting a team which is politically against a team of their tribe.
