The office of the Director of Public Prosecution has been asked to
prosecute NASA adviser David Ndii over remarks to have a section of the country secede.
According to murunga senator Irungu Kangata, Ndii should be arrest for breaching the law after remarks he made on an episode of Sidebar, which aired on August 22 on NTV.
"Those sentiments are reasonable, hence actionable in criminal law under section 40 (1)(b) of the Penal Code," Kangata said in the letter on Thursday.
"The said person has also been active on social media and print media, particularly Daily Nation newspaper, on diverse dates articulating the same agenda," the Senator said.
Last month, Ndii, a chief economist, said NASA is ready for mass action is the Supreme Court fails.
"If change cannot come through the ballot, it will come through the bullet," he said on NTV.
