The government has suspended the passport of NASA strategist David Ndii. 

In a notice dated February 5, 2018, to the economist, Immigration Director Gordon Kihalangwa asked him to present the passport to the Immigration Offices at Nyayo House.

Reasons for the suspension remained undisclosed. 

Ndii, however, responded through Twitter, saying: "@GKihalangwa suspends passport using non-existent section of law (3(1)(2) not citing reason as required. Sycophants are born, not made."
