Through a series of tweets on Friday to unpack the handshake between president Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition Chief Raila Odinga, Ndii stated that corruption is a longtime threat to Kenya.

He also added that the Raila-Uhuru truce will ensure that political affiliation shall not be used to shield those who are found to be corrupt.

While referring to William Ruto as Arap Mashamba, a nickname by Mombasa governor Joho, Dr. Ndii concluded by asking the Deputy President to carry his own cross.

“Corruption is an existential threat to our Kenya. We will stand together to ensure that political affiliation shall not be used to shield those who are found to be corrupt,” said David Ndii concluding that, “Arap Mashamba carry you own cross.”

Ndii also said that the duo had agreed to roll out a Programme that will implement their shared objectives asking those eying 2022 to sort themselves.

“We have agreed to roll out a Programme that will implement our shared objectives. Watu wa 2022 wajipange,” said the NASA strategist adding that Kenyans need to overcome the threat of elections to their lives.
