When a man of David Ndii's calibre makes the statement that Kenya needs to be divided, he is being both reckless and inconsiderate.
This is if the people who live in cosmopolitan areas that have both NASA and Jubilee supporters.
David Ndii should not be listened to because it is such men who cause anarchy and bad blood to exist between two people who have lived for dog years together borrowing salt from each other and sharing a washing line.
This man should read from the novel 'Half of a Yellow Sun' by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie who recollects the terrible times the Nigerian people had to live with during the Biafran war when part of the nation decided that they could live on their own.
Kenya is one state and blood was shed during independence so that her people could live together in harmony and peace. If people like Ndii who are well schooled and know the importance of peace can make such reckless statements and share it with the whole country, one wonders what a layman would think about Jubilee beating NASA in the just ended elections.
The nation needs to come together at such a time, reconcile after the heated campaign period and forge forward. We have lots and lots of debt to pay. We need to work hard to educate our children.
Kenya still has a vision 2030 blueprint to live up to. When it comes to matters of leadership and democracy, it is not men like Ndii to advise us. No, NASA has already tabled a petition at the Supreme Court. We need to wait and see what will happen there.
That is why we are paying those judges- to rule judiciously and tell us whether the elections were rigged or not.
Calls for secession by David Ndii should not be tolerated at all.
