Daystar University has asked students to report back on November 28.

The institution was shut Friday last week after students at its Nairobi and Athi River campuses protested over higher fees and a poor state of their meals and facilities.

According to Vice Chancellor Timothy Wachira, classes for undergraduate and diploma students are set to resume at both campuses a day after reporting back.

"Exams for post-graduate students will begin as earlier scheduled on December 4," said Wachira's statement.

Diploma and undergraduate students will sit their tests starting December 11.
