The young generations in Kikambuani Mbilini location in Kangundo who have indulged in alcohol and drugs have been urged to turn away from the practice and instead embrace education for better livelihoods.

According to Njora, the youth should venture into business activities which will earn them better living conditions and improve the society around them.
“Alcohol and drug abuse do not go hand in hand with education. The young generation should embrace education because our nation education sector has escalated. Good employments opportunities requires educated people and so does the self employment sector as one cannot manage saving with alcohol and drug addiction,” said Njora.
The Kangundo police boss further cautioned the residents selling unlicensed cheap liquor that the law would soon catch up with them.
“y leadership together with police will ensure that the homemade illicit brews that are sold at very cheap prices are kicked out of our villages to avoid illegal alcohol access. The bar operators should also open and close at the right hours,” he added.
