Appearing before the DCJ interview panel on Tuesday, Sichale stated that she will employ transfer policy to ensure that judges move from one station to another as one way of curbing corruption.

"I will employ a transfer policy to ensure judges do not stay in one station for more than 3 years and this serve as a way of ending corruption in the Judiciary. I will engage EACC to fight corrupt people in the country and send them out of office," said Sichale.

Sichale noted that she contributed to the reclamation of land belonging to Kenya Agricultural Research Institute and Karura Forest and this is a clear evidence of her ability to fight corruption in the country.

The Deputy Chief Justice post was left vacant after the retirement of Kalpana Rawal.
