Rift Valley LSK chairman Frank Mwangi, Moses Masese of the Youth Reconciliation and Awareness Forum want Rift Valley Regional coordinator Wanyama Musiambo to deal with criminals in Nakuru county`s police force to allow them dispense their mandate to citizens without fear.
The two are accusing the police of executing extra judicial killings of lawyers and social activists reported in recent months in the county.
Camping at the Regional Coordinator's office, they amassed more than 500 people on Monday demanding audience from the presidency`s representative in the region.
Their sentiments come just days in the wake of chilling news of murder most foul of Lawyer Willie Kimani, his Taxi driver, and his client Josephat Mwenda.
The two groups have since attributed the murder of the three to rogue police officers.
The three were reported missing last week only for their bodies to be found downstream of river Oldonyo Sabuk in Machakos county last Friday.
"The government is already conducting independent investigation in the matter and those found culpable based on evidence before court will be jailed," Wanyama said.
