Nyamira County Senator Kennedy Okong'o has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta not to be fooled by political brokers.
This come after the President's visit to Nyamira County last week on Tuesday.
"The president should not be fooled by political brokers and avoid elected leaders. Its not good nor fair for the president to visit our county without us as elected leaders not given early notice," said Okong'o.
The county leaders were caught off guard by the President's visit, some getting information on the day of his visit.
The senator condemned the political brokers who arranged the President's visit without informing them as elected leaders, saying the had a hard time following the president without knowing what to do.
"It is very bad for the president to come without as knowing, but some brokers know this, we were following the president like cows to slaughter house, we didn't know what was the President's agenda, ours was to follow, very bad," he added.
He has urged the president to deal with elected leaders and not political brokers who don't know what is supposed to be done.
He was speaking this when addressing journalists in West Mogirango constituency in Nyamira County on Saturday.
