Machakos senator Johnson Muthama has accused some politicians in Jubilee government of being ill-mannered.

The senator says that some senior politicians in the Uhuru Kenyatta led government are ill mannered and wants the head of state to take action against them.

Speaking in Machakos town on Monday, Muthama said that some actions and behavior being portrayed by some Jubilee politicians are shameful.

“President Uhuru Kenyatta should deal with all ill-mannered politicians in his camp because they are tainting his government, said Muthama.

The Machakos senator blasted his Nairobi counterpart Mike Sonko over his actions and behavior during the burial of former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti’s husband in Machakos last week.

Muthama said that Sonko’s remarks during the burial show that he has no respect for the presidency as a symbol of unity.

The Machakos senator warned that ill-mannered actions by some politicians allied to Jubilee will continue to embarrass the country.

Sonko has been on the spot over his ‘acting president’ remarks he made last week in Machakos.

On Tuesday President Kenyatta reacted to Sonko’s remarks asking Kenyans not to listen to what people say in funerals.

Uhuru said that he remains the President of the Republic of Kenya whether he is in Togo or elsewhere.
