Former Kwale Woman Representative Zainab Chidzuga has hit out at a section of opposition politicians alleging that they are inciting violence.
Speaking to journalists in Kwale town on Saturday, Chidzuga claimed that violence witnessed in some parts of the country before , during and after the Thursday repeat presidential poll was as a result of incitement.
Chidzuga alleged that some NASA politicians want to cause anarchy in the country after their leader Raila Odinga withdrew from the repeat presidential election held on October 26.
The former Woman Representative urged the police, the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) to crack down on inciters and guarantee security in the country.
"The police alongside relevant government agencies must move with speed and ensure that those suspected or linked to incitement are dealt with according to the law," she told journalists on Saturday.
Chidzuga said that the country has to move on after the Thursday repeat election whose result is yet to be declared by IEBC.
The former Woman Rep appealed to Kenyans to remain peaceful and shun politicians whose agenda is to cause mayhem in the country.
Some parts of the country have witnessed violence against the Thursday repeat presidential election.
Tension remains high in Nairobi's Kawangware area after two groups allegedly allied to NASA and Jubilee clashed on Friday.
Politicians across the divide have since condemned the attacks and called for peace in the area.
