Dealing with people that you don’t like at work can be very challenging especially if you have to complete a certain task with them.

You have to come up with a mechanism that you will use to deal with such occasions. 

Here are a few tips on how to do so are as follows.

1)    Acknowledge the fact that you are not going to like everyone and everyone is not going to like you. It will help you embrace and appreciate how different people are and prevent unnecessary rubbing of shoulders.

2)     Don’t take it too personally. Stay and keep your emotions in check to ensure that negative issues don’t get the best of you and leave you crazy wondering what next you will do. You may not realize it but only you have the power to control your emotions and not anyone else.

3)    Rise up above their character. It is very easy for this person to manipulate you into a negative situation and by reacting into it you will be stooping to their level which , so always try not to overreact to such things.
