1.Diana Chelele Chemuai

Her life came to an unexpected end on Saturday, January 9. Her husband, Eric Musila, is a key suspect in the murder of the musician who left behind identical twins.

Chelele’s name made headlines in 2012 after her husband Eric Musila, an Administration Police officer, was charged with the murder of surveyor Eliud Yegon over an alleged love affair with Chelele. The case is still in court.

Her last album Kamang’unet which translates to ‘Hope,’ for the first time focuses on problems in life and she even asks God to help her.

Barely a week after her demise, an audio recording believed to be Chelele’s surfaced. The speaker is heard narrating how her ex-husband snatched everything from her, including property, money, land, and kids.

The audio that went viral somehow left many wondering if the dead musician had foreseen her death.

2.Mercy Keino

The slain student’s body was found on Waiyaki highway after she attended a party also attended by Kiambu Governor William Kabogo at Wasini luxury suites in Westland, Nairobi County.

During the hearing, Kabogo told the inquest that he was not involved in the death, saying the idea was politically brought up by his political rivals.

Government Chief Pathologist Dr. Johansen Oduor told the court inquest that Keino sustained fatal injuries before her death but acquired more when vehicles ran over her on Waiyaki Way.

Dr. Oduor who conducted the autopsy on the body testified that it was difficult to determine what killed Keino, because of the multiple fractures she had sustained.

He told the inquest that the autopsy could not ascertain whether she was killed elsewhere and her body dumped on the highway or if she was hit by motor vehicles.
