Fate has taken its good course in many of the lives out there.

I was travelling on this clumsy Wangige -Ngecha road through Ruku. There were these old ladies complaining about the state of the road in their channel O. I decide to join their debate.

"Since I was born I have never seen this road tarmacked" said one of the elderly ladies.

I was shocked since she is around 70 years but the most outrageous part of the story is that there has always been promises.

"We elected Babayao to construct the road, he is yet to do it," another elderly woman said.

This is why I had to share my thoughts with you friends of development. I dont know whether to call it an insult to the Kabete constituency voters.

The road has a been a bargaining power for all parliamentarian, the incumbent and those aspiring after every five years.

In as much as you and I may want to blame the political class, the residents take an equal blame too since they elect them for peanut gifts.

For three or five hundred shillings you buy your agony and agitation. Its time we get out of this jinx. A proper civic education should be imposed to our young and idle generation not forgetting the old.
