Parents have been challenged to dedicate their children to God if they expect them to receive God's blessings in their development and growth.
Boronyi SDA Church Elder Mzee Charles Asiago has reminded parents that taking over God's responsibility of bringing up their children will not succeed without dedicating their children to God for divine guidance and spiritual nourishment.
Speaking at Boronyi SDA Church Camp Centre in Giasaiga sub-location of Sameta sub-county during a church services, the Church Elder expressed concern over majority of the parents’ failure to involve God's divine guidance while bringing up their children, a development he said led many children from Christian families to go astray in their lives.
“Children are a precious gift from God and every responsible and God-fearing parent, especially from our Church has no excuse of not bringing their new-born children for dedication to God,” observed Asiago.
Asiago challenged parents from the church, whose children had been dedicated to God, to ensure they fully breastfeed them fully for full development.
He also challenged parents of the dedicated children to ensure their children attend their classes regularly, to enhance their development and growth according to Christian doctrines.
