Barely two months after his dramatic reelection as Kitutu Chache South MP, Richard Onyonka has questioned NASA's commitment to Abagusii community.
In a conversation with the Star, Onyonka accused ODM leader Raila Odinga of shortchanging coalition partners despite their stake in NASA.
"ODM is mistreating us and they do not realize that we are senior partners in the coalition," said the Ford Kenya MP.
During the November elections, Onyonka was backed by Raila, despite ODM having fielded Samuel Omwando in the closely contested poll.
And the third term MP also says the Gusii community would evaluate options including coming up with a political party.
"We shall discuss this matter regardless of our political affiliations and we may form our own party," he said.
In his second term, Onyonka, who was elected on ODM, briefly joined Jubilee before decamping to his mother party. He would yet again decamp to Ford Kenya after a brief stay in ODM.
Politicians allied to NASA from Gusii have accused NASA of sidelining them in critical parliamentary committees.
