This follows the Department's move to suspend passports of close to 15 NASA coalition politicians and officials, following the swearing-in of opposition leader Raila Odinga.

Others whose passports are said to have been suspended include Siaya Senator James Orengo, ex-Machakos Senator Johnston Muthama, NASA strategist David Ndii, Homa Bay woman representative Gladys Wanga and businessman Jimmy Wanjigi.

However, Joho said he would not hand over the document since he only learned about the suspension notice through media, and that he acquired the passport legally.

"Let them dare. Even if, and when, the order is made, I will not hand it over. I will resist any attempt to take that right away,” said the ODM deputy party leader who has been in political fights with the Jubilee government.
