Outspoken Gatundu South lawmaker Moses has denied claims that he was coordinating with outlawed Mungiki sect to counter NASA supporters in Nairobi adding that they are also entitled to picket.
NASA, through the ODM chairman John Mbadi, sensationally accused Kuria of allegedly conspiring with the deadly gang to antagonize anti – IEBC protestors.
And on Tuesday, Kuria rubbished the claims, saying he was not aware of any plans by the outlawed sect as claimed by the opposition.
“I have never associated myself with Mungiki in my entire life. For those in Mungiki, it’s their rights to protest and that should not even be the topic,” he said.
Known as master of hate speech by a section of Kenyans, Kuria further said: “I am only a patron of Nairobi business community and the team only wants peace.”
Identified with deadly dreadlocks, Mungiki sect antagonized Matatu operators in Nairobi and parts of Central Kenya bit was later crushed by interior ministry.
Conspicuously, a group of people with the legendary Mungiki dreadlocks identified themselves as business community on Monday and vowed to deal with NASA demonstrators on Monday.
