"Families have been left torn apart and devastated for exercising their democratic rights. Many of them are still to this day unable to bury their loved ones after their bodies were taken away in the back of police vehicles."In a statement, Odinga said it cannot be right that innocent children playing have become shooting targets for a rogue police force. Citing cases witnessed last year, he said it cannot be right that a baby was ripped from her home and battered to death. "We cannot accept bullets as a muffler for our rights as a people. They have asked us all to 'forget and move on.' We will not forget the bright Stephanie Moraa who was set to join Standard 5 this month. We will not forget young Geoffrey Mutinda who was set to join Standard 3 this month," warned Odinga. He noted that the opposition will not forget the spirit of all the children who are no longer alive."We will not move on from the deaths of all these innocent lives. Their deaths will not have been in vain. For as long as we keep marching on, we shall emerge victorious!!!" concluded Odinga, Friday.
