Raila Odinga says opposition NASA will not be scared of police brutality, intimidation and unwarranted police crackdown on his supporters ahead of December 12th swearing-in.

At the same time, Odinga accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of unleashing terror on his supporters leading to the death of over 200 people.

“He should know that the will of people cannot be subverted by his excessive use of force through the police and other security agencies,” he said.

Odinga further added: “No amount of intimidation or teargas will deter our good course. We shall continue with the same spirit no matter his desperation.”

While the Amnesty International places the figure of victims of post-election violence at 50, Odinga however claims that police have killed more than 200 people since August 8th polls.

“On Saturday we buried over 20 same as Sunday. Today (Monday), we have more who will be buried. They have continued to kill our people but that will not scare us.”

To restore electoral justice, Odinga said, NASA will continue agitating through the People’s Assembly where he is set to be unveiled as president.
